On the day of Prom, the residue of Nathan's pre-Prom party has serious repercussions for everyone in Tree Hill. Haley asks Nathan for a list of his past sexual conquests. Rachel is expelled after taking the blame for Brooke. Peyton gives up on both Brooke and Prom. Lucas has a hard time trusting Dan with Karen. Mouth and Brooke learn that Clean Teens and Prom don't seem to go together.

Brooke still makes her best to hide about her stealing the calculus test with the help of Rachel, with both Haley and Principal Turner after her. In Deb's absence, Nathan throws a senior party at the Scott House where an old sex tape surfaces.

Struggling with her drug addiction and Dan getting closer to Karen, Deb decides to end her life.

Still shaken after his vision while in coma, Lucas goes back to school and tries to start a relationship with Peyton. Nathan tells Haley tells the truth about Daunte and the accident. Brooke and Rachel hatch a plan to steal the next calculus exam and end up having to join the Clean Teens Team. Gig warns Mouth that she's going to break up with him. Dan is released from jail and Deb breaks out of rehab.

While in a coma, Lucas sees Keith who shows him what life would be if he had made different choices. Nathan tries to deal with guilt while the lives of Haley and the baby are in danger. This is Whitey's last game and the big chance for the Ravens to finally be state champions. Nathan and Lucas clash over whether they should win the game or not. Peyton reveals to Lucas that she loves him. After for her baby's life, Haley learns its sex. Karen shows Deb tough love. An unexpected drama will lead to three lives in danger.

At the annual sports banquet, Whitey gets a Lifetime Achievement Award and Nathan is named MVP, which doesn't make him that happy since Daunte wants him to throw the game at the State Championship. Rachel asks Haley for tutoring and is coldly turned down. Derek convinces Peyton to take a chance with Lucas while Brooke approaches him about getting back together.

Lucas clashes with Derek and gets suspicious about him when he lies to Peyton to get Lucas off his way. Deb won't go back to rehab and fires Karen.

Lucas and Brooke clash at a post-game party and Haley realizes that Rachel is plotting to seduce Nathan, who's still trying to figure out what happened at the river. It's Brooke's 18th birthday but she's not one to party this year. With the help of Peyton, Lucas tries to get Brooke back but only finds himself losing her even more. Deb's past addictions rush back while Dan's current obsessions won't leave him.

After the car crash, Rachel must face the consequences of her acts when Cooper is in a coma and a cop is after her. Nathan is deeply affected by the accident. Peyton learns that she may have a brother. Brooke moves in with Rachel and breaks up with Lucas, definitly saying goodbye to her friendship with Peyton. After Deb's confession, Dan warns her that there will be ugly consequences, while trying to get close to Karen.

It's Nathan and Haley's wedding again but their honeymoon plans are compromised by a tragic outcoming. Brooke fights with Peyton for still being in love with Lucas and also fights with Lucas when learning about the kiss during the shooting. Deb tells Dan the truth about the dealership fire and Rachel fails to get Cooper back. Karen admits she's pregnant but it seems like someone else is pregnant too.

When Jake hears Peyton saying she loves Lucas in her sleep, he tells her she should go back to Tree Hill and face her true feelings. Lucas and Karen also come back after seeing a few Colleges. On the day of her rehearsal dinner, Haley fights with Brooke over her wedding dress before making up to attend a special party where Nathan and Haley's friends re-enact some of the great Naley moments. Brooke helps Rachel dealing with Cooper avoiding her while Nathan and Haley give both Marcus and Dan a chance to change.

It's the weekend of the Coastal Classic and with Lucas out of town along with Karen, Nathan has to face an old rival from High Flyers and Dan who's getting back to his old self with Deb and Cooper. Visiting Jake in Savannah, Peyton decides to not go back to Tree Hill. Brooke and Mouth team up against Rachel when they learn that she's dating Cooper.

The Ravens forfeit their first game since Keith's death to support Lucas who doesn't have the strength to play and the truth about his HCM finally goes out. Back in town, Deb must face Karen who has a lot of anger in her and Cooper spend time with his new supposedly 26 year old model girlfriend. Brooke finally gets her revenge on Rachel when finding an old picture of her. Peyton tries to decide whether to meet Pete in Chicago or just follow her heart.

Rachel invites the gang to her family's cabin. With the help of Brooke and Lucas, Nathan steals Haley's wedding ring to propose again. Pete comes to see Peyton and Rachel tries to get Mouth's forgiveness. In Tree Hill, Karen confronts Dan about Keith's death thinking he's responsible but unaware of the truth.

Tree Hill has to deal with Keith's death, thinking Jimmy killed him. Lucas and Karen have a hard time living without him while Dan is haunted by his brother's ghost after he's shot him. Nathan and Haley realise that life is too short and move in back together. Brooke tries her best to help Lucas and moves in with Peyton, knowing nothing about the kiss that she shared with Lucas during the shooting. Rachel confess to Mouth that she released the time capsule. The students have a party at school to bring everybody together.

Still disturbed after the time capsule was released, Jimmy brings a gun to school and holds a group of students hostage in the tutor center, including Nathan, Haley, Mouth, Skills and Marcus. Lucas comes to Peyton's rescue after she was accidentally shot and Brooke has to deal with the situation on her own, outside. Everybody will have to learn to deal with the tragic outcoming of that experience.

When someone unleashes the time capsule from last year, all students must face their confessions. Lucas and Mouth must face an old friend. After the whole school seing her breats, Brooke thinks Mouth released the time capsule. After seeing Nathan's time capsule, Haley is scared of going on stage again for Peyton's Cancer Benefit Concert at Tric with Jack's Mannequin and Fall Out Boy. When Dan confronts him with the ledger, Keith tries to convince himto move on, like he is moving on with Karen.
